This week’s episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” featured Sheila’s final death, following several near-death experiences over her lengthy tenure on daytime TV. However, a lot of her supporters aren’t quite so sure she’s gone.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: How did Sheila Carter die?
Sheila Carter met her tragic end at the hands of her archenemy, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), whom she had truly meant to kill.
Sheila broke into Steffy’s house covertly in a episode that aired the week of February 26. Steffy became uneasy when the electricity went out and thought Sheila was manipulating things. Then she saw a person in a cloak, and she knew instantly that it was her.
Sheila approached Steffy, who attacked her with a huge kitchen knife. When the paramedics came, she was subsequently declared dead, despite Steffy’s insistence that she had acted in self-defense.
The two ladies are well familiar with each other; Sheila is the biological mother of Finn (Tanner Novlan), the spouse of Steffy, and she has terrorized the Forrester family for many years. In 2023, Sheila unintentionally shot her kid during a fight in an alley with Steffy (whom she later shot on purpose).
After Finn “died,” it came to light that his adoptive mother had given him the care he needed to recover. Ever since the tragic event, Steffy has been extremely vigilant and has made every effort to keep Sheila away from her spouse and kids. Sheila ended herself in jail as well, awaiting trial for shooting Finn and Steffy.
But Sheila was free to move about after the court dismissed the accusations against her, and that dynamic has put stress on Finn and Steffy’s marriage. They got into a violent argument in a recent episode when Steffy went up to Sheila at her apartment. Steffy has made it known that she wants Sheila dead as well.
Sheila Carter: is she truly gone?
For decades Sheila Carter has been causing havoc to the people on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” but she has always escaped death. But this time, according to Kimberlin, her character’s number is actually up.
The actor stated in her recent interview that she is conflicted about leaving daytime television.
“Well, you know, it’s a tough place for me to be in right now; I’m not going to lie about this,” she said. “Well, I’m glad Steffy is the one who will ultimately bring Sheila down. All I want is for no one to be bringing Sheila down. I’ve been really fortunate to be in this joyful spot for more than 35 years. But without a question, I’m one of the fortunate ones because I’ve had a decent run at it.”
Casey Kasprzyk, a supervising producer on the program, also appeared to convey that Sheila is genuinely dead in an Instagram post to Brown.
“This is an appreciation post for Kimberlin Brown- undoubtedly the greatest villain in daytime television history. It’s been a dream working with her over the years, and so thankful for all the memories. Thank you,” he wrote.
But many fans are still skeptical that the veteran daytime villain is truly parting farewell for good, or that she is simply reverting to her old ways.
Fans aren’t convinced that the villain is actually dead because Sheila Carter has always been an expert at staging her own death, and she most recently did so in 2022.
A lot of fans shared memes on social media on their belief that Sheila is indeed dead.
