The three children of Michael Jackson honored their late father by making a unique presentation as a trio on the red carpet.
MJ: The Musical’s preview night at the Prince Edward Theatre in London on Wednesday saw Prince, 27, Paris, 25, and Bigi, 22, looking all grown up.
The guys dressed in matching black suits, but they had different hairstyles for each one. Prince hid his blazer behind a sparkly tie and a maroon button-down shirt. He pulled his hair back into a tight bun as well. A few of the top buttons on Bigi’s (formerly known as Blanket) white shirt were left undone to give it a more laid-back look.
Paris, who was seen on March 4 at Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week event alongside Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, wore a lovely rust-colored dress with a pleated skirt and exquisite sheer sleeves, along with maroon heels. Her jewelry, which included a lot of bracelets and big hoops earrings, as well as her soft, wavy haircut, all reflected her bohemian style.
She also displayed some of her tattoos on her arms, hands, shoulders, and chest. (Paris surprised everyone by showing up to the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4th, lacking any visible body art after having all 80+ of her tattoos covered up using a Cover FX makeover.
Prince and Paris, Michael Jackson’s children with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, have been on the red carpet together in recent years.
The two attended the 75th Tony Awards in June 2022 wearing monochrome outfits: he wore an all-black suit and his long hair down, while she wore an off-the-shoulder gown in blush pink with gold accents.
In a recent court filing, Bigi objected to his grandmother Katherine Jackson using the King of Pop’s estate cash to cover her legal bills in their continuing legal battle with the executors over the singer’s Sony catalog sale. This coincided with the brothers’ combined appearance. (The music collection is presently worth $1.5 billion.)
In response, Katherine claimed in a filing this week that “the Executors cannot in good faith contend that the Estate does not have sufficient available funds to allow the Trust to make the requested payment.”
Michael Jackson’s creative process is shown to audiences in MJ: The Musical, which shows the singer—who passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50—practicing for his 1992 Dangerous global tour. It comprises over 25 of the singer’s greatest hits and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon, with a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage. Myles Frost plays his role as Jackson during the musical’s run in London.
The cast and crew of the King of Pop biography are filming in anticipation of the film’s April 18, 2025 premiere, when the production moves to the West End. Michael Jackson’s nephew Jafaar Jackson was spotted wearing his uncle’s varsity jacket while shooting in Los Angeles. This is just one of many outfits that fans can anticipate seeing from the remarkable makeover.
Michael Jackson’s 3 Kids : Prince, Paris, and Bigi Jackson
All three of Michael Jackson’s kids—Prince, 27, Paris, 25, and Bigi (previously known as Blanket), 21—have been in the public eye their whole lives.
When they were younger, the pop singer used elaborate masks and veils to keep them somewhat safe from the media. Jackson’s security previously described the children as “well-mannered, well-behaved kids … They are really level-headed.”
However, the children became more visible in public following Jackson’s passing in June 2009. The siblings stay close even if they pursue different interests and endeavors now.
Prince once mentioned that despite their hectic schedules, the three try to find time for each other whenever possible.
MJ’s three children celebrated their father’s 65th birthday in August 2023.
Prince Michael Jackson, 27
Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. was born in Los Angeles on February 13, 1997, and was Jackson’s first child with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Known as Prince Michael Jackson, he was named after Macaulay Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor, who are his godparents.
Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe divorced in 1999, and the singer was granted full custody of their children. The kids were raised at his Neverland Ranch, and upon the passing of their father, the siblings moved in with Katherine Jackson, their grandmother.
In 2019, Prince got his degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount. He loves motorcycles a lot and has a YouTube channel where he posts about his rides across California. He also does some movie reviews with his brother Bigi and cousin Taj Jackson.
Prince co-founded Heal Los Angeles with a friend while studying at Loyola Marymount University. Heal fed individuals in need during the pandemic in 2020 by collaborating with a meal delivery service. He said that his father would have been “proud” of what he had accomplished.
Paris Jackson, 25
Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 3, 1998, to Jackson and Rowe. She was given names that honor the city in which she was conceived, her father, and her grandmother, Katherine. Paris shares Caulkin and Taylor as godparents with her elder brother.
In 2009, following the loss of her father, Paris went through several public struggles. She was also admitted to the hospital in 2015 following a probable suicide attempt. Paris also sought medical and mental care in 2019.
She follows her father’s footsteps. As a musician, she has carried on her father’s legacy by participating in many bands and releasing full-length solo albums. Paris is also an actor and model.
Bigi Jackson, 21
Bigi retains a lower profile than the other two Jackson children. He was born as Prince Michael Jackson II, better known as Blanket, in 2002 through surrogacy. He renamed himself Bigi in 2015.
Bigi and his older brother, Prince, are very close. They’re “best friends” who enjoy science and fiction. Bigi expressed his wish to have an impact on the world. He has an intense interest in climate change. He said, “Our generation understands how important it is, but we still have some work to do.”
